The YWCA Racial Justice Workshop is open to our entire YWCA Asheville community – including our staff, volunteers, board, donors, program participants, Fitness Center and community members. This 90-minute workshop will take place on the second Tuesday of each month at 11:30 am and will be facilitated by Gerry Leonard, Racial Justice & Outreach Specialist and Lexus Walker, Tzedek Social Justice Fellow.

Asheville Art Museum Presents: Tot Time
10:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Free with membership or Museum admission (children under 5 always free)
Come discover the art of play in our interactive Art PLAYce for Children! This monthly program for pre-school aged children accompanied by an adult occurs on the third Tuesday of each month, and features a fun activity designed especially for our young visitors plus time to explore the Museum galleries.
The Bicycle and Pedestrian Task Force meeting’s are on the third Thursday of the month. The meeting begins at 5:30 p.m. and is held in room A-109 at the City of Asheville Public Works Building at 161 S. Charlotte Street. You can enter the building from the north end, where the parking lot and bike rack are.

Beginner’s workshop lesson at 7:30 P.M., then 8-11 P.M. Contra Dance with Country Waltzing at the break and the final dance. This is a partner dance but it’s not necessary to come with a partner. We have different live bands and callers.

There is a low-cost rabies and shot clinic with James Boatwright, DVM, available from from 12 – 3pm the last Saturday of each month. Pricing is as follows:
$15 / 1 year rabies
$20 / 3 year rabies (Dogs or cats with rabies paper certificate)
$20 / DHPP combo for dogs
$10 / Lepto
$20 / Bordetella (dogs)
$25 / FVRCP/FELV combo for cats
