Join WNC Medicinal Herb Growers for a hands-on session on advanced medicinal herb handling.
In this advanced-level workshop, we’ll focus on commercial-scale harvesting, washing and drying following Good Agricultural Practices (GAPs) for medicinal herbs. Highlights include access to the new Produce Safety Handling Facility in Mills River, as well as access to medicinal herb plots. Participants can expect an invitation to participate in herb handling, so field attire is recommended.
